In many fishing communities across Uganda, young girls face a significant challenge—lack of access to menstrual hygiene products. Every month, many of them miss school during their periods, falling behind in their studies or even dropping out altogether. The fear of embarrassment, the discomfort, and the lack of proper sanitary products create an unnecessary barrier to their education.
At Family Medical Point, we believe no girl should have to choose between her education and her natural cycle. That’s why we launched the Menstrual Cups: Support 1000 Girls in Uganda project. With just USD 5, we can provide a schoolgirl with a menstrual cup that will last for at least five years. This simple yet life-changing solution ensures she can attend school with confidence, without worrying about inadequate menstrual hygiene.

The impact of this initiative goes beyond just providing a product—it restores dignity, promotes health, and empowers young girls to focus on their dreams. A menstrual cup is not just an alternative to pads or tampons; it is a game-changer that helps eliminate the stigma and fear surrounding menstruation while being safe, reusable, and environmentally friendly.
We need your support to reach 1,000 girls in need. Every donation, no matter how small, contributes to a brighter, healthier future for these young girls.
