FMP’s Staff and Board of Directors Trained on Sexual Pleasure

FMP team alongside CPMs and the Board of Directors

FMP’s staff members, Community Peer Mobilizers (CPMs), and Board of Directors participated in a two-day training on the concept of sexual pleasure and its central role in advancing Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

This training is part of FMP’s collaboration with Amplify Change, which aims to reimagine the delivery of comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health services for marginalized populations, particularly targeting sex workers in fishing communities.

The trainees were equipped with practical skills and tools to implement a pleasure approach effectively within their communities.

FMP aims to improve the overall well-being of sex workers and contribute to the reduction of maternal mortality and unsafe abortions in Uganda. The integration of sexual pleasure aligns with our broader vision of a sexual and reproductive health system that is inclusive, equitable, and responsive to the needs of all individuals, regardless of their occupation or background.
