Family Medical Point participated in a global gathering of sexual and reproductive health organizations organized by SAAF in Nairobi, Kenya, 27 – 30 November 2023.
The gathering, bringing together representatives of organizations in Africa, Asia, Middle East, Europe and South America, provides a platform for learning and knowledge sharing on how to end unsafe abortion which has ravaged the lives of millions of women across the globe. The meeting will also share expertise on clinical quality standards in service delivery and framing advocacy.
Restrictive laws and or blanket bans of safe abortion services, norms and attitudes remain key roadblocks towards ending unsafe abortion.
