We recently held a learning visit hosted by Ark Wellness Hub in Kampala, one of Amplify Change’s grantee partners. The visit was an opportunity to exchange experiences, explore innovative ways of integrating sexual pleasure into SRHR service delivery and advocacy, and identify areas for collaboration.
We were inspired by Ark Wellness Hub’s inclusive approaches, especially in reaching marginalized communities with rights based SRH services that prioritize dignity, choice, and pleasure. Their team generously shared insights on effective models that can inform and strengthen our own work.
As part of the visit, we also received SRH commodities including lubricants, male and female condoms which will directly support our community outreaches and Ssenga sessions, helping us create safer and more engaging spaces for SRHR education.
A highlight of the engagement was laying the groundwork for a potential partnership between FMP and Ark Wellness Hub. By combining our resources, we will expand access to comprehensive SRHR care and amplify advocacy for pleasure-positive SRH services in Uganda.
FMP looks forward to working hand in hand with Ark Wellness Hub to ensure that more people, especially those in marginalized communities, can access accurate SRHR information, care and support they deserve.
