Family Medical Point – Abaita is a not for profit organization working to enhance access to healthcare and empower women and girls among marginalized communities in peri-urban and hard to reach areas in Uganda.
FMP envisions increased access to sexual and reproductive health services among young people and women of reproductive age through providing a mix of low-cost and or free access to contraceptives to the needy slum communities, high-risk and or vulnerable segments of society and creating a conducive environment for young people and minorities to access sexual and reproductive health information and services.
Family Medical Point runs a medical centre licensed by Uganda Allied Health Professionals Council under Ministry of Health, located 200 meters off Kampala-Entebbe road at Nkumba Education Trust Building, Abaita Ababiri, Katabi Town Council, and Entebbe Municipality.
