Safeguard Policy

Home / Safeguard Policy

Family Medical Point has a clear safeguard policy, seeking to prevent harm mostly to children, young people and vulnerable adults while ensuring that our employees, volunteers, partners and activities comply with the standards. Family Medical Point places too, clear responsibilities and expectations on our staff and those associated with the organization to understand and act appropriately. Our safeguard policy is considered a pillar in ensuring the people we work and associate with do not expose those who are vulnerable to the risk of discrimination, neglect, harm and abuse and that any concerns Family Medical Point has about the safety of vulnerable segments of the population and communities in which we work are dealt with and reported to the appropriate authorities. It is also a paramount obligation that Family Medical Point has for protecting our employees and volunteers when ill or at risk of harm or abuse and child protection is at the heart of our safeguard policy, however, not specific to children alone.
